Rolling River Day Camp is home to one of the best Day Camp Staff Softball teams in Nassau County! We compete against the staff teams from other day camps in our area in a fun, competitive league each summer.
At least once a week after camp, many of our campers, their parents, and fellow staff members come to our games to cheer us on and show Rolling River spirit! At our championship game in 2004, an estimated 400 members of the Rolling River family came to see us win the title: in 2009, an equally large crowd cheered us on to our second straight league championship!
Since 2002, our team has compiled a team record of (68-10-1). We are always looking to add another championship to our impressive resume. However, our main goal is to embrace all staff members, male and female, to join us in a fun-filled and team building experience.
Here is a list of our accomplishments:

  • 1998 = 5-3 (Runner-Up)
  • 1999 = 0-8
  • 2000 = 5-5
  • 2001 = 7-3 (Division Champions)

We are always seeking “free agents” and new members for our team (we carried 22 players last season!) – Our first practice of the season is open to everyone on staff, so keep your ears open for practice days.
