Rolling River is thrilled to partner once again with “Local Ink 516” for our 2021 custom apparel line! Local Ink 516 was born out of two women’s passion for screen printing, as well as their love for modern, fashion forward designs. They are a Long Island, NY apparel screen printing company that focuses on accessories, promo items, gifting products and more. Local Ink 516 works one-on-one with their customers to offer the latest styles, hottest trends, and highest quality apparel brands with consultants on hand to help bring the prints to life. Their philosophy is quite simple- make amazing, quality, customizable products with outstanding customer service, in a quick and timely manner.

As former campers themselves, Local Ink 516 has a message for our families as well as a fun camp-friendly DIY project to do at home!
When we were younger and went to camp ourselves, we had the MOST fun in arts & crafts. Reason obviously being that we were able to turn our camp shirts into design masterpieces! Whether we chose to bead them, paint them, cut them, or tie-dye them, it was always a great outlet to get creative. Over the years as we got older, we started a company focusing on screen printing and embroidery to continue with our favorite activity. No we are lucky to make awesome clothes for all our amazing clients!
We love working with Rolling River Day Camp because we get to help and be a part of their growing community all the while having the opportunity to curate a clothing and accessories line that is sure to be a continued fan favorite for all families. This is a line that we worked so hard on to get right for all of you and we hope you love it as much as we do. We also CANNOT wait to see all of the ways YOU ALL customize your camp apparel!!
Below we have provided an awesome, fun idea that the kids and parents can do together!
SPLATTER PAINT PROJECT!!!!!
1- CHOOSE YOUR PAINTS ( NOT WASHABLE) AND SQUIRT A SMALL AMOUNT OF EACH COLOR INTO THEIR OWN PLASTIC CUP
2- ADD A SMALL AMOUNT OF WATER TO CUPS AND STIR WITH NON-BRUSH END OF PAINT BRUSH
3- LAY DOWN PLASTIC GARBAGE BAGS OR NEWSPAPER FAR AROUND WORKSPACE. (IT CAN GET MESSY) PLACE SHIRT IN MIDDLE
*** PUT NEWSPAPER OR GARBAGE BAG IN SHIRT SO THAT PAINT DOESN’T SEEP THROUGH.
4- THEN CHOOSE YOUR STYLE AND FLICK THAT PAINT AWAY! OVERLAP COLORS/ MIX COLORS; WHATEVER YOU WANT.. IT IS YOUR CREATION!!
5- ONCE FINISHED LET DRY OVERNIGHT BEFORE DOING BACKSIDE (IF SO)
6- OTHERWISE ONCE DRIED WASH SEPARATELY ON LOW HEAT AND DRY ON HIGH HEAT
*** SHOULD BE ABLE TO BE WASHED WITH REG LAUNDRY NEXT CYLE***
